try that other than that make sure the depth is 24, I've had this problem with ati before so I had to go back to the default drivers. put if neither of these fix the problem put xorg.0.log and dmesg on a pastebin and put a link for me -

620hun81907y@Christian1998 open the nvidia settings, go to DFP-1, controls tab, then change the dithering depth to 6 bpc ;)

DRHAX3414477yI was about to say enable dithering, but I see you already fixed it. Had that problem on my GTX 1060 laptop
