Im getting a feeling that the more we try to replace humans with computers and machines, the worse the remaining humans get to interact with. And I dont mean that in a way that computers are better to interact with but in the sense that people tend to forget how to properly work with each other.

    Yeah! That too!

    On the other hand, I wish people would communicate with me more like with an AI:

    "Do we already have a ticket for that bug that I found yesterday?"

    Brief and to the point.

    Instead of the overly verbose and less specific…

    "Good morning <Name>. I hope you feel well today. I wanted to ask you about that bug. Maybe, if you have time, you could tell me if we already have a ticket for that or not. Please answer whenever you have time, if that’s okay."

    @Lensflare These are the worst. But mostly because they totally miss the point they want to tell.

    @Lensflare @galena Hi, can I ask you a question?

    ^ ultimate human non-communication

    @lorentz The sentence is fine if the question is appended afterwards. But alone: Pure Evil!

    What do you expect? Humans are on a computer 24/7.

    They do work on a computer. When they commute in bus and train, they are on their smartphone. Either they buy online or they are on their smartphone when they wait on the queue checkout in a real store, they only communicate via smartphone or email. People don't go to church anymore where they would also meet other people.

    On the Internet we have large tendency to keyboard-fight with each other and don't listen.

    How should they learn how to interact with each other?
