iceb11562ylol. it's inappropriate sure but I suspect I'd try the same things if I had a drone haha.
$400 is a bit steep but I think the story / experience here is worth at least $200 -
@joewilliams007
At one point we shared areas with Helpdesk and one dev brought the work laptop over because it was infected with viruses/malware (starting off with "LinqPad stopped working, I don't know why ..."). I mean, stuff happens, but he must have explained for almost a minute how his wife's computer was down and she borrowed his (work) laptop and used the "you know women and computers" excuse how she somehow got on 'adult' sites (the laptop had pop-ups promoting porn, etc)
I'm hearing all this thinking "Dude, you're busted. Nobody is believing you. The more you try to redirect, the guiltier you look."
Everybody heard it, and I sent the attached image to our area. -
lol, the only drone I used would try to land if it lost signal or if the battery was just about to run out

Sadly, drones will be more and more hugh end and silent and will be able to make voyeurisme much more « easy to do »
They also are able to shoot a bullet (with some easy electronics mechanics skills involved)
And this, is the scariest part.
Guess elon musk said something abt that like « actuel technology is able to build a drones army and kill very easily »
This makes me less care abt that porn site on the screen of that manager 🥴

Inappropriate experience at work? Here is another one:
The IS department manager 'John' bought a drone (when they first started getting popular, paid over $400 for it), flew it around the office, which was kinda fun, then he took it outside and started peeking in (and recording video) various VPs offices.
Needless to say, that behavior wasn't popular because several/most have their back to the window and never saw the drone and the drone was close enough to see/record their monitors (which John did). No one was doing anything wrong (no porn, no secret company plans, etc), but they were rightfully upset.
Later that day he decided to find out how high he could go and because of the technology at the time, it lost signal or battery power, fell from the sky, and before he could gain control, it crashed (styrofoam wings shattered). Can't say I felt sorry for him.
