Nothing that happens on the scale of Facebook threatens the survival of anything. "Death" for a corporation like that means shrinking to only 10 times your typical social media site instead of 1000 times.

Corporations die when they take out a shitton of loans and sink in debt. This commonly happens when they start shrinking because upper management can't imagine finite money so they will risk everything to stay the biggest.

@bigmonsterlover I meant to say that nothing threatens the survival of anything on the scale of Facebook, I just tried to be fancy with attribute positions in the sentence and failed.
