    I have questions 😂 . How the fuck do they track that ?

    @soberGhost Smartwatch provides an accelerometer on your wrist

    @hitko I see you 😂

    @soberGhost from the microphone and camera

    @soberGhost I think asking why is more important than how.

    interesting i can't find an implementation of this in any code online. it should be mentioned though that health connect it still in alpha at this point.

    (health connect allows apps to share health data with each other without any servers. samsung health allows for this for example)

    Was this published on Apr 1st without getting reverted?

    @soberGhost can’t speak for Google. But for apple, it’s not auto-tracked. You get an option to record your sexual activity data manually.

    @electrineer Like sports, sexual activity alters hormone levels pulse rate and blood pressure. It obviously is health-related data.

    @electrineer

    The only good reason I can think of is for women for automatic period/pregnancy tracking. It might be a bit more convenient then writing it into an app manually...

    then again, the real answer is probably "because we can" and "fuck you and your privacy" :)

    This could catch you cheating- you're away from home, your partner's phone isn't detected nearby, and a sexual activity is recorded.

    @d4ng3r0u5 Or you're just doing pushups in the gym, and next thing you know your spouse is texting you something about being an asshole and wanting a divorce

    @soberGhost iPhone got in trouble awhile back for recognizing pant zipper sounds

    @chonky-quiche They certainly weren't listening only to the zipper sounds. Wiiild

    @Hazarth
    The other only good reason is that health levels and wealth are easily correlated.
    Just like drug abuse and many other activities.
