xroad23149yThe problem is people think their choice of OS defines them. They're tools to get things done -

@rob4001 Tried but Linux has issues with realtek drivers. YES! you heard it right, Linux has driver issues.
 -

@dmartin I have Asus zenbook and my windows 10 never ever crashed on it, neither lagged.
 -

@xroad I don't know why! but most apple fanboys I know are really aggressive about Windows, while they always have windows as a virtual machine in their Mac!

lotd76789yuse whichever you prefer, that gets the job done.
personally i opt for minimalism but am also is a control freak with a hint of security paranoia when it comes to software.
so gentoo with i3 or Xfce is my prefered choice.. :)
i'd have a sharp eye on Slackware too though. -

tytho22969yYa, just use what you know. An OS is not a religion. Don't let them bother you. I would say that if you attempt to set up your dev environment in another OS and try it for a month, you'll gain a lot more sympathy, even if you go back to Windows. -

I'm cool with people using windows, I just don't understand how you survive without terminal
 -

frontend dev here. i would love to continue to use windows but im pretty fucked without a mac because all the fancy new tools are mac only, like sketch app, framer studio.
And the mac terminal runs smoother than powershell.

hell164619y@mohammed its not Linux that have driver issues, its hardware that have Linux issues... sometimes hardware manufactures just don't want it to work on Linux... something like not making a game version for Linux, its not Linux fault. -

@azous Maybe you are right. But I can't use linux without my wifi and sound drivers, everything else is perfect with Linux.
 -

@wgroenewold I can develop laravel, CI and cakephp applications using wamp. I can also develop android apps on windows. So I can develop anything I want in windows. And who uses ms front page where you have firebug! Winamp has a mac version too :P

That moment when the entire office is Apple fanboys and you are the only windows supporter.
What can I do? First love is first love.
