Whoever came up with the idea of styled components and other idiotic css-in-js bullshit because they couldn't be arsed to understand fucking cascade deserved all the bullying they got in the highschool. And all those idiots who adopted it because they couldn't be arsed to understand fucking cascade should get waterboarded.

css-in-js is stupid i agree. css modules on the other hand are good, if you want to style components specifically without needing to name the classes/tags that-one-very-specificly-styled-thingy
and having it in one giant stylesheet.css

if you need more coarse control, you can use custom properties in a main css file and just use these in your components.
