    @Flarp yes i understand i did
    my issue is with fdisk telling me the partition i want to make is out of range of (x ammount) sectors when i use G or M as units

    @Flarp i found a Gb to Sector calculator, and it worked - after it wrote the partition though, it told me the partitions i made it from were in use?? i made it 8G in sectors from a free space, and put it at the end

    @Alt-Grrr I'm installing to a USB, and have the arch wiki open in browser in another computer

    cfdisk is easier for partitioning

    @tiledcode i second this... Either this or use cgdisk... Believe me u'll b doing urself a favor there
