@iceb hahaha "... back then" - love it

    I’ve come really far.

Though my health is floating at the bottom of “worrying,” just above “danger,” so myself from 10 years ago would be proud but aghast, and certainly not envious.

@retoor you can sing going to work, or you can cry in the shower, but eventually everyone sings the blues once in a while.

I have no idea what that means.

I just thought it sounded cool.

@Root wait, if it isn't asking too much, whats happening on your end? Are you like, dying?

@Wisecrack singing the blues could be slang for taking the drug blues. Horrible stuff btw

@retoor I only take the reds fam.

@Wisecrack Less so now! Though I’m still far from feeling normal.

Quick summary is ME/CFS. It’s hell. Moderate case, though, not severe.

Longer is: I’m exhausted almost constantly (mentally and physically) and no, lots of sleep doesn’t help. Any exertion makes the fatigue worse, and overdoing it makes me collapse for a few hours and makes me chairbound for most of the next day. Standard activities are draining, like: showering, dressing, cooking, standing, carrying 10lbs, using stairs; most everything, honestly. I often can’t do two things back to back without resting, or I risk overexerting myself. On a normal day, 20-30min rest is enough to tackle another task; on a bad day it might take 3-4 hours. For walking, 4k steps a day is sometimes too much; 6k is always too much.

Um. I’m a cell phone whose battery has a max capacity of ~10% and whose charger is barely functional. But this is up from 3%!

    So yeah, kinda…

@Root Well hell. That sounds like hell.

Actually it sounds like an immune or gut biome disorder. Ever consider talking to the NIH? They study obscure and hard to diagnose illnesses?

Not a suggestion or anything, I'm just curious.

Nah, I would think "sounds about right".
