Seriously, what even is this? I heard about this, but didn't think it would happen to me.
Also based on what they want to be doing with another person's computer can also double as a botnet too.

If you look closely, you will find that it's a scam.

How will they actually scam you here?

@electrineer They will use that seemingly murrican account to scam potential murrican clients.

Or they just do the classic money muling/laundering where he transfer incoming funds to another account.

This is like the people who were allowing someone to ship items to their house. Then reshipping them somewhere else for a small cut. Pretty sure the items were being purchased with stolen credit cards.

I had people asking for access to my upwork account countless times. They offered money. Capitalism do be like that. You don’t live in a rich white people country? Tough cookies, no upwork opportunity for you. You are free to move to a white country though!

@kiki even d part w/ moving to a so called more civilized country ( which usually is more armed actually ) is not an easy task for many...

@Wisecrack It was a scam a while back. People being paid to reship things. They had no clue they were working for criminals. They had replied to the "make x dollars a month doing nothing adverts". I think this was 15 years ago. I can't remember when I saw this.
