What's the best laptop for programming?

Not looking for graphics, looking for portability, long lasting battery, good display, SSD

    XPS 13? Has a developer version running Ubuntu. High quality laptop, great portability.

    The fully right andwer to the question would be, whichever you feel comfortable with.

    But since is me and Im a linux lover, anything that has linux on it, Im using acer and it's been good so far, but avoid hp

    Just got an XPS 13, amazing thing. Everybody has either one of those or a mac at my company

    Pretty much any Thinkpad, great keyboard and battery

    I like the Dell latitude laptops, the newer versions are pretty quick and the battery was ok for me when I had one for work

    Dell XPS 13 is the best ultrabook. Has great Linux support as well . Got one since2013 with fedora. Still does the job.

    If you are looking to save some money, an ASUS Zenbook UX330UA is a good option. $700 and you get an ultraportable laptop (1cm thick) good processor, 8gb of RAM and 256gb SSD

    After looking around and researching four days I think I found the perfect one. Everything you need plus a back lit keyboard which was a must for me.
