    Dark themes will not strain your eyes as much = less tired eyes 😀

    @mrzogg2001 this, all of this... spend a day on a dark theme then switch to word or something light, you'll feel the physical strain.

    Dark for the night, light for the day ;)
    Personally, it causes me strain to distinguish characters in dark theme when it's really bright outside - I sit on front of a window.

    @devios1 light is much better, as it helps me stay awake :p

    Research has been done on the subject, showing there is no difference in reading speed or eye strain. Except on e-readers where black text on a whiteish background allows for slightly faster reading.
