Mr.dfox, you should consider making devRant open source, you have a community full of devlopers after all.

Are there any specific components you'd like to see open sourced? Like most good tech startups we will of course look at give back to the community by open sourcing useful components, but I don't really see much value in trying to open source our entire tech stack which I think would just be overwhelming/not very useful to people.

A common question I also get is what technologies and languages devRant uses. I'd definitely like to devote a page on the website to talking about all of that!

The entire stack would be a bit much. I was just thinking that maybe some of us can fork it and fix bugs, add new features, etc. Which part you want to share is up to you. I know most of the app itself is probably grabbing the data via a Web service.

I can use the source to start catRant. A rant app for crazy cat people.

I would love to contribute to the project so can get behind this idea.
