I dont even know what gradle is but based purely off of the rants on here I'm never going to use it.

It's a build automation system and yeah it's slow but it's probably still the best

@mrtnrdl my curiosity if fulfilled at finding out it's a build tool. The rants on here tell me that if I don't need it it's only going to slow me down and learning it (in regards to my workflow) is most likely an unessary frustration. But honestly if I'm paid for it i will probably use almost anything.

Let me tell you that once you start using Java you cannot avoid it.

I havent used it but to describe it with frontend terms I thinks its a bit of a combination between NPM and Gulp/grunt/webpack. (correct me if Im wrong)

@Codex404 well you can use maven, but maven is MUCHMUCHMUCHMUCHMUCH worse than gradle. Maven is best with a 10yo legacy codebase, like the code I'm maintaining at my job... fucking hell..
