Where and how do you guys host your dynamic websites? I’ve got a customer who needs a website with a DB and an Api, where do i host these things for the best prive and with best features?

There are people here who'd happily answer that, but imo you should do your own research for these things.

Getting an answer straight from here would be nice for you, but it will take away the skill of weighing options from you. Some may be good at pricing, some may be good at customer support, some may be good at giving a balance.

Cloudflare imo looks really good. Mostly traffic based restrictions for the free plans which makes it great for testing and then upgrading according to their needs, although if you already have an estimate of traffic you might be able to find a better deal (doing your own research would certainly be beneficial)

Its not that i dont want to do my own research, its that i dont know where to start it, and it just seem like such a big topic that confuses me alittle. Im working 70hr+ week (fulltime emploed and started my own business) with kids and a wife, so this post was meant to not to get the solution, but get pointers to solutions so im able to study some recommendations and start from there, i know the traffic needed, i just know nothing about cloud hosting- so thanks for the cloudflare mention, ill give that a look.

I think the best way to avoid analysis paralysis is to name one of the top rated platforms and let people say arguments for and against it. To help you figure out if those rare relevant.

I can start: "how bout Heroku"

(many loved Heroku for it's ease of use, and only left it because they removed their free tier - but for a professional project that's not a concern)

PS: i have never used a database on Heroku.
