Running them, and having to ask dumb HR related questions that no-one gives a crap about.

I don't want someone that's sold their soul to XCorp and can rave about how it's the best place in the world to everyone they meet. I want a down to earth, decent dev.

    lol. when people I was interviewing (I was one of the interviewers) ask me how long I stayed at my last job and why.

    The word 'professional' is very close to the word 'profess', as in to profess your fanatical love of something.

    I almost think passion was a mistake. I see it not and I think "huge red flag". It just makes people look like dorks, or worse, outright tools.
