@iihirotoii GIGABYTE mobos have this cool feauture called "crash-free BIOS". If there is something wrong, it will try to flash bios image from backup

@ttomovcik Ya, I have a Gigabyte Mobo but it has UEFI Dual Bios. It can recover the corrupted bios automatically!

@iihirotoii Yup, mine used to have that feauture. But after bit of a modding I somehow broke it.

EDIT: that mobo has old legacy BIOS

@ttomovcik BTW I broke one SATA port on my mobo can I get it fixed ?

@iihirotoii Desolder the old connector, clean the area, add little bit of flux and solder in new connector. Or just send it to repair shop.

@ttomovcik oh Is it possible that I can do it my self? (I have never soldered anything in my life! And I do get weird ATA errors from time to time too🤔

@iihirotoii Well, if you have no experience with soldering, try repair shops, or just order SATA controller if you have free PCI-E slot.

And if you are feelin' like you Can do it, watch few soldering videos, try desoldering something like cables from old headphones or capacitors from old PCBs

@ttomovcik SATA PCIE card should do just fine! Will go with that! ☺️
