Debating whether or not to buy my new PC, kinda scared to switch to ryzen but excited to build the rig now that I know what I'm doing...

Should I do it guys?

I've got a 1600X and it's a fucking beast for little money.

@CodeKek I'm looking to go 1700X and see if i can push a 4.GHz OC on it (Doubt it but still worth a try)

I want to wait for the 1900X. Because I need all the cores

I had to rebuild my desktop and changed from an old i5 to a ryzen 1700x.. I was a little nervous too, but it is awesome

I just finished my rig with a 1600x and its awesome!

@nielsen192 How does the 1700x perform?
Just a bit nervous considering i have never used or had experience with anything AMD :-/

@BigMacca101 Well I have been using it for about two months now and so far it has been performing really well. It's ability to do multitasking is amazing and it is great for helping with running games, especially if you want to run something different at the same time. I am definitely impressed

@nielsen192 Awesome! I did plan on getting the i7 7700k but I have heard a lot of heating issues and having it lose its overclock so thought I might swap to team red
