@TerriToniAX damn son! Where do you live? How about starting your own telecom company?
-
@NeatNerdPrime My nick gives a hint, Åland Islands. About starting my own company: Nah, been there, done that.
-
@TerriToniAX I hope they have reasonable prices.
In Lebanon a minute was 35cents, then made it 25cents not long ago
500MB 4G costs 10$ 😞 -
@gitpush I must confess I have no clue. I have some package price 7 € or something with this and that many minutes, with so and so many texts and a small amount of data that I never use anyway. I hardly ever make phone calls, but when I do it's usually important and I would very much like if the line didn't break all the time. Ålcom used to blaim my old phone (a 10 yr old Samsung), but that's just BS. New phone, same problems, and I'm not the only one.

@TerriToniAX usually customer is always right but with their advantage of being alone in the market I doubt they care

@luminousnine Which mainland? You plug mobiles straight into your genes in your country?
-
@luminousnine Not really mainland to me, rather Eastern neighbour :) I used to live there for a while though, in the early 90s. I have no recollection of "DNA". It was probably not around yet as mobiles were not a commodity at the time.

In my country there is exactly one (1) mobile operator to choose from, Ålcom. The line hardly ever breaks - provided that you keep your phone calls under a minute or so.
