@projektaquarius really? I didn't know about the floating thing. I never actually wondered how to know if eggs are bad though...

@configurator it isn't exact. But the older an egg the more air it contains so the higher it floats in water so if it floats at the top you may be risking gassing your house. The problem I that older eggs also make better boiled eggs because they are easier to peel.
