@randomRanter yup. Stars in a pickle jar sounded cool

Because Android is based on Arch, every Android owner knows this.

@sour there are things called rhetorical questions. I don't actually care why. It's just frustrating

And things turned @sour. Jk with wordplay

I usually go back to stock, after pinching the camera and audio apps from the branded ROM. I can't stand it when a manufacturer buggers up android and then has to spend two years fixing their mistakes.

Bad shit about android... Because the companies change it to they're liking there are so many bugs...
My Asus was really fast with Android 6.
Update to android 7... Lags like a fuck, have to clear memory and use greenify everytime I change apps, camera? May take up to 5 minutes to start...
And I don't want to go back to 6 because it has bugs I don't whant to andle...
Like... Why not use the Google rom? No bloatware and bugs created by the adaptation

@RodrigoF I tend to use CM, or a variation thereof. Its not exactly stock, but it opens up the possibilities of modification and overclocking and such. Plus, usually pre-rooted.

Well no root yet for my phone... And I didn't want to root before waraty runs out

@RodrigoF that's my reason for not rooting. I break my phones too often to do that. Warranties are much too important lol

Yep yep... If I root my phone I'll get rid of ram problems... It came with 2gb, I bought a special SD (read and write lot faster and costs a lot more, think it's for HD cams) and with root I would had a 4gb swap...
But my problem is, why do I have to even care when my phone was so expensive? Why fuking updates brings more bugs and lag then solutions? If it was a Chinese cheap model ok, but it's a fuking Asus...
Like... I could do more with my old Alcatel with only 1gb ram and 4core (and 2gb swap, plus 4gb with link 2SD for apps)... And only bought the Asus because I was frustrated with my old 6 months meizu m2...

For example... I could run Linux or several servers with the Alcatel, this... This crap only allows 2 or 3 apps at a time.
Btw since I spent months fixing it, some tips :
Under developer options, allow only one process at a time
Do not allow apps to autorun, keep only the bare minimum. It will take a few seconds to open apps and won't save its state but makes a laggy phone usable
Use a ram booster (I think that above Android 6 cames with the sistem) and install greenify

That only made the phone barely usable but at least got lost of write lag (don't you just hate when you write a sentence and have to wait for it to finish?)
Sorry for ranting more then you , but this gets me really frustrated... Like... Smartphones are the new computers... And I wouldn't buy a new one to take two steps back

@RodrigoF you're ok to rant as much as you like. I learned a lot from that one, so it helps both of us; you get to vent and I learn new things. I might limit my mom's processes as you described because I'm tired of her complaining. She has a really fast phone and desktop, but keeps bitching about how slow they are. The load times she complains about are MAYBE a second, longest.
