pajaja17337yI actually instantly closed devRant tab by reflex when i saw red Comic Sans on that background.
-
gnaaah9837yOn so many levels!
- upper case in variable names
- double instead of single quotes
... and the fact you are still using Python2 -
Root797537yHigh contrast colorful theme
Ahhhhh
Comic sans
Ahhhhh
A clown must have written this
Ahhhhh -
ljiech1307y@gnaaah if you are familiar with c# its easy to get used to double quotes for strings... because single quoutes represent chars in that language
-
Python55357y@ljiech Indeed, I'm still damaged from C# in that matter.
Single quotation on strings still screams syntax errors in my eyes. -
Python55357y@PrivateGER Say that to my Java class teacher. Also, variable naming in our local language
-
C0D4669027y@Python
Tell that teacher I’ll accept the following for variables name formats:
var myVariable
or
var my_variable
But don’t interchange them for any reason. -
Meta33347y@PrivateGER Not entirely true for every language though.
In LUA tables ("arrays") start at 1 😄 -
Meta33347y@PrivateGER People use it inside games for stuff like consoles or quest scripting and stuff 🤔
Also great Minecraft mods like ComputerCraft. -
@Meta Yeah, but outside of these areas it's pretty much dead ^^ O would love to use C# in these topics.
-
Python55357y@Meta I know, and this is at university. Not like we can't comprehend what a zero means.
@C0D4 I gave up on that teacher so fast. I usually don't endorse to skip classes if the teacher is bad, but he did more harm than help if you had any earlier programming experience. Did the exam at the end of the course and got an A. -
@PrivateGER Would be cool to use something like C# in these areas, but compiled languages are obviously much harder to integrate.
Space Engineers has done it, though. -
@PrivateGER Civilizaton 5/6 use it for mods and World of Warcraft uses it for add-ons.
