I often wonder if tech recruiters realize we are evaluating them and their “opportunities” just as much as they will be evaluating us if they consider us at all. When recruiters send me opportunities and then never follow up, even with a “sorry, you weren’t selected”, when I submit my application and résumé, they’d better not be wondering why I don’t apply to anything else they send me.

    My resume is very limited an leaves a lot of questions open always resulting in dem invite. Once invited I check my rizz

    The situation is always in their favor though, they will always find newbies/low experienced candidates to fill the job position.

    You, on the other hand, minimize your options the more you "evaluate" opportunities.

    Thing is, recruiters are aware of what you said, but they couldn't care.

    @SidTheITGuy recruiters are the root of all evil. Couldn't find a job where they studied for. Gender study or so

    @retoor well, recruitment is a whole-ass industry in on itself. If you're good with filling positions with employees, your salary will be 10x what devs make.
