Do you listen to music when you code? If so, what genres or favorite tracks/stations?

Electronic music. I'm a free user of DI Radio, and I love it. Mainly music genres like trance without voice, just music.

I play some old punk rock when coding for fun. If I really have to focus like at work I use https://musicforprogramming.net/ not really for the music but it drowns out sound around me. (I also think the website is cool)

- Electronic music to focus
- Jazz music to chill
- Heavy Rock or Metal to stay awake

I listen to them all mostly, but not exclusively, without vocal tracks (and even with them I prefer foreign or otherwise unintelligible languages).

I listed a purpose for each genre but I usually just listen to whatever the mood tells me to.
I've also experimented with binaural beats, isochronic tones and other "brainwave hacking" sounds just for the fun of it.

Anything electronic, mostly dubstep. I regularly listen to heavy metal but if i do so while coding i get disteacted by the music and enter chill mode and forget about the code.
