They ought to get prosecuted for treason. Nokia used to be the pride of Finland. They slaughtered it. F*** the management.

Their biggest issue was that they were a hardware maker. Good hardware is useless without good software.

And for whatever reason they decided that the best OS post Symbian would be the proprietary one with the tiniest market share.

The OS on Windows phones is quite good imo, or it used to be until it became what it is now...

They need more support for common apps and to fix the disastrous bugs

Windows Phone OS is great IMO, if Nokia chose Android (and I don't believe Google was willing to financially support them like MS did) the end result could have been the same. Don't think so? How many Android handset manufacturers are actually making a profit?? Samsung, and almost nobody else... Making an Android phone does not mean mad profit despite their market share.

@dakuma true that. Even Samsung isn't making money anymore. They had a few good years when they were the only ones making comically large phones
