I think that leaving a child of just a year or even few months in front of the tv equals to an adult watching porn, the more your baby keep watching the cartoons on the TV the more he is not satisfied and would like to watch something BETTER. Now let's compare it to us as Adults, the more asses and holes you watch on pornhub the more you don't feel satisfied and you keep looking for something more exciting, and that's how you damage your brain.

What do you think?

I... don't think you have kids. When they're a year or less, they get bored of the TV quite quickly. Much prefer crawling around and bashing blocks together. It's not some weird addiction where they start off watching cartoons and end up shouting FATHER I CRAVE MORE THAN CARTOONS NOW

@AlmondSauce I do have kids buddy and he is 1 year and 2 months now, once i turn on the tv he begs for cartoons once i let him watch them, he can sit for a long time just watching, sometimes no eye blinking... it's scary

It depends on each kid. My 15 months old got bored after less than one hour. And she doesn't crave for more cartoon, for sure.

The same can be said of adults watching MSM fear porn. They believe everything their government officials say and don't resist actual tyranny. These are the true NPCs. Television at a young age trains them for that. News and TV uses conversational hypnotism to inject bullshit right into the subconscious. So, you are correct. It is also intentional and premeditated.

I don't know about Cartoons but definitely agreed on Porn. The more I see, the more I get bored, and the more I crave for something new

I actually feel that somewhat of an early exposure is quite good.

I was watching cartoons early, but I watched them an an alternative language (english in my case). No one else in my family spoke it and I was way ahead of all my peers, and still am.

I also got bored of TV eventually, now as an adult I barely watch it.

I also got access to computers early. Similar story. I ended up learning digital art and programming literally out of boredom one day. Now I do it for a job and I much more prefer walking outside or reading as a free time activity

I also tried this on my much younger sister, I played her a lot of youtube (english with slovak subs) and Anime (Japanese with slovak subs) and eventually dropped the subs in slovak and only kept english subs where necessary and now she is best in class, even selected to represent school. She also doesn't watch anime, she does still watch YouTube (as we all do I guess) but mosty as a time killer

I also convicted my mom to let her use the computer, she got bored pretty fast of it, but I showed her how to look up stuff and use critical thinking when reading stuff online and she can use a computer pretty efficiently.

She still got affected by social networks, which I believe is a real problem for young people. But as I see her interract with them now, I can see that she's mostly using it for artistic inspiration and she's mostly able to avoid the ugly parts.

    So all in all, honestly?
    1. Every kid needs an individual approach, you just need to see what they are good at naturally.
    2. Nurturing the parts you want to see early is extremely important. And with screens you can do this by strategically selecting useful content. But it requires your time and attention too. You have to spend the time with the child and help them navigate the content too, and show them why It's fun and what is best left alone. They will suck in all the info, because they are a blank slate that loves you.

My friend puts on these dancing fruits with trippy music for her 1-year old and I find it a bit creepy how that kid just shuts down, like the lights are on, but nobody is home and he's always in a weird zombie state. She even puts on this weird looking helmet thing and a soft backpack thing for him when she has the kid outside or at some other people's homes, she doesn't want him to get hurt. I find it bizarre. But, whatever, it's her kid lol, not mine.
