@busuu becouse it is running on ubuntu on the windows subsystem for windows: a new feature that has been on windows that lets you run bash on windows in a kind of simulated linux enviroment (llinux calls are sort of translated for the windows kernel to excecute them). I'm running i3 on linux on windows. It's great for situations in which you can't install linux, but want to keep using a linux development enviroment.

@gitcommit damn...don't bother yourself again if it's too detailed, i guess there will be some kind of tutorial pretty soon after the CU comes out :)
Thanks for the attempt though, we share your pain.. -
@CozyPlanes I can't remember where I downloaded it from, but here's a link with it and similar wallpapers too. It's from a YouTube channel called Kurzgesagt. They do educational videos on technology and physics with a good focus on design on the graphics they use.

As I stated in a previous rant, I was finally able to run a linux desktop enviroment in the wsl in my laptop. Configuring it has been my adiction, and since then, I've put my projects aside to customize it. Here are the results.
Unfortunately I can't make i3gaps work, but this is fine too.
