So I'm soley a Java developer, and I got the task of making a server so I was like what a great time to learn C++ or something. With no prior knowledge of what c++ looks like I make a new project and open the damn template to be confused asf on where to start. I lookup some hello world tutorials and now I'm even more confused. Thanks C++

    I dont get what you mean by "making a server" ? what is what you need to do mate? perhaps there is something already done that you could use instead

    @BindView what do you recommend, I've made one with Java with no problems but I've heard Java is pretty bad for servers

    why would java be bad for servers? multithreaded, fast, shitton of frameworks. try java spark

    Haha! I remember when I started to learn c++ (also from a Java background). It is extremely confusing. It's worth it though!

    @reeve567 oh....... you need new friends then, multiplayer in game development is quite a beast if you dont know what the fuck is going on or how to use it
