Started working at a large company with promises of a great framework, stable environment and bleeding edge tools, decentralised working environment, only to find visual studio 2010, no git, no project management tooling whatsoever, all documentation stored on svn, no slack or other modern communications platform, still using uploaded word documents as documentation for projects and meetings, so yeah I can truly say :/

    I had and I'm having the same experience right now. Even worse, they use outdated IE version. IE is their main browser.

    Did that kind of medieval way of working not come to daylight within the interview(s)?

    @pVtm4sTeR haha. I heard the term "traditional ways" in the interview but didn't thought that's what they meant haha. I needed the money to pay my student loan so I didn't care at the time. It's been a year. Time to gtfo of there haha
