Hmmm. Was Pythagoras a programmer? Nah.
It's not easy to draw a line for being a Dev or not. Ada Lovelace just development a theoretical language. On paper - if I remember it right. Not essential different from maths.

Though most of the large breakthroughs were men. - Surely with women having their back :3

@BambuSource I think she designed/made the first algorithm for the analytical engine, which essentially made her the first programmer.

It's because till a few years ago programmers were nerds.... Most nerds were men... So female programmers were not that common..
Also we live in a patriarchal society... Blaim religion.

Anyone saw that movie about black women in NASA?? It's soooo owsome. We tend to forget that woman brains work better with code and multi tasking ...
