Today is my annual 'clean your keyboard' day. Anything used as much as a keyboard is bound to get dirty. Keep your gear clean kids.

I haven't fully cleaned mine since I got it a few years ago. Only when I spilled something on it.

By now I'm just scared to clean it

i use methylated spirit and a microfibre cloth. comes up like a treat.

This is why I love Corsairs K-series keyboards. top and bottom is bowed, but the rest is completely flat. No frame to work around when cleaning, just pop the mechanical keys (no metal bar of shittyness on any keys) and cleaning is a breeze (literally when using canned air).
