cypher427yI'd like to install arch linux but I have a dual boot(windows and ubuntu).
I would like to install arch over ubuntu, is there a good tutorial on how can I set it without problems? -
@cypher the arch website and wiki is an incredible source for set up and troubleshooting. I use it for just about any Linux problem, not just arch.

@cypher If you already have the partitions you can just wipe your Ubuntu-Partition (copy important data first from it), and than install Arch on the very same and reuse the swap-partition.

Since everyone is posting their system, I'll do it now, too:
- Type: Laptop
- Age: about 5 years
- Weight: 2-3 kg (too much)
- Modifications: Paper below problematic keys; Samsung Evo 850 250GB SSD
- Usecase: School-Laptop with every Office-Suite I could find.
- Pros: Wrecks my PC with the boottime (Gnome > KDE); Looks really sick; Really lightweight Arch installed; Quiet when not under load
- Cons: Really heavy; Battery old and unreliable; Bluetooth stops working after closing lid
