rhein712097yI was 2 weeks at "1&1", a German but meanwhile international hoster. Problem was I had no chance to choose a department so I had to go to BusinessIntelligence. Only economic computer scientist and not one softwareEngineering exercise š„

Babtism by gentle fire. But we were also forbidden to work outside of work hours. Without any experience we had to do scrum and agile with teams in Kenya. This was pretty difficult sometimes. But the seniors there also gave presentations on how to do angular, sass and other needed skills. About 10% has been hired afterwards

I worked for the government. Wasn't so bad, but there was a lot of info to absorb. And the codebase was terrible. And the pay was shit. And the program management didn't like us due to a history of underperformance. Learned a lot though.

Eased in. Really slowly. Like too slow. I only actually worked for a third of my internship because the program I was supposed to be upgrading for them was breaking prod the day before I started.
