My car window got broken this night and they robbed some of my stuff.. Well I lost around 100€ in stuff so it's meaningless, but I have to get my car repaired, and most of all, they stole that old shitty laptop that I use as a seed box and for file syncing. It was my first own computer too, it had about 7 years :/

Where i live we literally leave nothing in the cars even take my textbooks out becauae they WILL break in and take anything there

Maybe you can try tracking the location of that machine?

@aayusharyan it has Ubuntu server on it, so I guess the robber won't be able to connect it to internet. We'll if he does use an ethernet cable then he's a fine dumbass.. Yeah I'm gonna check my VPN logs

Can someone educate me on what a seed box is?

@AngryDev it is a computer or server that is used specifically for seeding torrents. Having fiber at home and a cheap VPS in Sweden, a seedbox lets me download all the torrents I want without worrying about laws because I use my VPS as a VPN server. So I can leave it on all day too so that other torrenters can enjoy my file sharing speed
