I need advice. I want to build new pc and i can get i7-4770k for 100 €, but one thing that turns me down about that is older socket. Should i go for it ? Or should i get something with new architecture ?

If you can get the motherboard and the DDR3 ram for cheap, I´d go for it.
I still have an i7 4790k and I don´t see ANY reason to get anything newer...

If you can find a motherboard for it fora decent price, I think it's worth it. But do check before, as supplies for gen 4 socketed motherboards was pretty low and expensive, last I checked, but I did check for mini itx, that may not apply to more common sizes.

I think i can can get everything from the same guy, except graphics gard for cheap.

@CptFox Aren't PSU's (except wattage difference) same for every cpu ?

@P1Ro They are, I meant supplies as in commercial supplies, stocks, not power supply 🙂

@P1Ro You should have a look at the connectors they have. Older ones dont have sata power and the newer ones dont have molex connectors. If you feel hacky, you can cobble the connectors together if they are missing.
