I have an opportunity to get JetBrains Resharper for VS, paid for by my employer. We also use a variety of other tools, so wondering if it is worth the time/investment?

For those with experience using it, recommend or no? And why/why not? Honest feedback and advice sincerely appreciated.

I use it every day... Its tha' bomb... except when VS updates then it all goes to hell... And for solutions with loads of projects, it might seem to drag the loading time... I'd say if you have a good amount of resources on your machine then go for it... it helps a lot.

Resharper saved me so much time in the past.. I used it in many projects.

Only problem could be that you have to learn millions of shortcuts that are different from the jetbrains and vs shortcuts.

    9/10 would use it again.

I highly recommend using any of the jetBrains suite. I use cLion and webSotrm regularly and it helps productivity immensely. I use them with a vim emulator to key it familiar. But jetBrains software is jam packed with nifty tools you wouldn't expect by default.
