    So, does it mean google controls me? *according to second message

    Google, Facebook, and Microsoft are kind enough to keep a backup of your data in-case your HDD dies. don't know why people are mad at them -.-

    Am I the only one who thinks that battery percentage and 4G need to be in a color other than white? they are burning my eyes :\

    @gitpush once I accidentally deleted some important documents, contacted google, they gave me my documents, my desktop file, cloud file, collage certificates, birth certificate, death certificate, marriage and divorce paper, details of my hitman who is about to kill me.
    // these are nothing as compared to what they actually game me.

    @aitkotw see, that's what I'm talking about, people need to appreciate what those companies are doing, but meh....

    Hogyan van Gugli Asszisztensed, itthon? Láttam pár módot a beszerzéséhez, de nem nagyon működnek. ElÅ‘zÅ‘ telóm rootilva volt és xposed is volt, de a jelenleginél nincs.

    How did you get Google Assistant here, in Hungary? I saw a few methods, but they aren't working. My previous phone had root and xposed, but my current phone doesn't.

    "We don't spy on you! We just record everything you say and do, when and where you do it, and process it so we can figure out why. That's not spying, that's personalization! 😄"

    @Linux Google and privacy in the same url/sentence:

    I feel that, when those complains are made, the following is often overlooked:
    They try to provide personalized services. Services which try to work in the best way for each individual person.
    These services need to know stuff about the people they try to personalize content, cause otherwise they couldn't provide personalized content.

    In general this is not a bad thing (imo). What is a problem though, is that those information can be misused. That's the part where I would agree.
    But honestly? I don't see a point in complaining about personalized services collecting information in order to personalize content.

    After all, it is anybody's decision to use it or not. But badmouthing whenever possible just because one does not want to have their data collected. Just don't use the service then.
    I think it only should be a problem if you have no alternative and cannot decide if your data is collected or not. This is the case e.g. if a state does this, which I really dislike.

    @DelError Okay say for example I reaaaaaaly fucking need to email you, you only use gmail and I definite-fucking-ly want to stay out of Googles data centers.

    How fucked am I?

    (not attacking you, just putting it in perspective)

    @farkaskid farkas means wolf in my native language lol

    OMG that's a great coincidence. I named it after a character named 'Farkas' in Skyrim. What's your native language?

    @linuxxx
    Sure, in that regard you are completely right. But you still have the possiblity to create yourself an "for Google only" mail address for such cases.

    I personally also has a friend who filters all mails from @gmail.* to trash, immediately. I just use one of my other mail addresses to contact her.
    Obviously, you need to know people who respect your opinion.

    For example: I see no benefit for me in Facebook. And I explicitly ask friends to not upload images of me there (group pictures for example).
    So, I can understand this. I just also see the part where they need to know something to provide proper service.

    @linuxxx
    By the way: sorry for not writing back. I had problems with my mobile after holidays and did forgot my login for the IM to contact you again -.-

    @DelError That's alright! You could try a password reset or create a new account :D.

    The thing is, you can do that but I'd rather stay out of Google entirely. Same for Facebook.

    I have the same with Facebook as you have :). Also the same with Snapchat and Instagram though!
