@Jakuho JS was originally meant to be complimentary to Java, but now it’s an entire thing on its own. Funny how times have changed.

Nah not really
Check out the more recent Apache projects (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink, etc.) Plus Deeplearning4j. All Java/Scala (well, JVM anyway) stuff.
