Yay, unofficial devRant app for Windows10 \o/

Anyone tried on wine?

I will release v2 in these day which is even better. :)
(it will require Creators Update at the beginning, but also Anniversary Update will be supported in future)

@JS96 the new version looks really cool ( love the use of fluid design) and is snappier (faster)

@JoshBent there is a closed beta out, he asked people to sign up and review the new version
The new version should be coming out soon though, due to some reasons he did reduce the beta time and has an early release in mind

@connorboucher I'm pretty sure it's a UWP app, which won't work with Wine. (unless it's one of those JS ones that are easy to port, but people say it's good so it's probably not that)

@franga2000 in theory it could be possible to make UWP apps working on Wine, but no one ported the UWP API, so for now it isn't.

Feel the difference.

The new UWP looks really really good and the UI/UX is very nice
The fluid design (if I'm not mistaken) is integrated well
My vote goes to UWP

They have different targets.

devRant unofficial UWP works on Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 Holographics. And have all the features you can find on iOS and Android.

devRantron on MacOS, Linux and Windows (only desktop). Not sure about the features (for sure more complete than the current official Web version).

@Dimmerworld The other difference is that devRant unofficial UWP is a native .NET app, while devRantron uses Electron.

@Dimmerworld @JS96 is not just talking, if you want a better experience and better support, go with his build, devrantron imho is unpolished and has no active support, since his creators have school trouble currently or something.
