My mom: "there's a virus in my phone! It says so when I open Chrome!"
Me: "...stop clicking on strange links that your friends send you, mom. Nobody will ever give you free Nespresso capsules for life as a gift."

Every damn time.

Wait, how did you make your mother into a chrome user? (or any half decents browsers really)

@theuser the easiest thing in the world. When she got her phone I took it "to install all the things it needs to work" and substituted the browser with Chrome (not only). Why would I spend time explaining the difference? Only people who care notice it anyway... 😜

@Torbuntu yes, from what I understood it's just a website that tricks you (with pop-ups and ads) to believe that your phone is infected and offers a software to "protect" you. I closed the tab and just to reassure her I reinstalled Chrome 😂

@theuser I think you mean, "How did you teach them to find the browser?"
