@jdunla damn, i forgot about the antenna you could use for self defense. My bad. This rant has lost it's meaning

@jdunla I remember when one of my friends came to school with his brand new Motorola V3. It was sexy af

CptFox16167yAm I the only one to find the iPhone X terribly ugly ? I mean the screen looks great, but I feel like the rest of the design took a step back...
-
@CptFox I never liked iPhone, but their design level has dropped since iPhone 5 in my opinion. Just look at the popularity of iPhone SE when it came out (iPhone 5 copy with the performance of iPhone 6). They just don't look elegant or sexy. They don't make you feel special when you hold them in your hand. My design preferences are a bit different I guess...

Coming from a Lumias past, Nokia's designs were so good. But I have to say I really dig my S8: if it had better fingerprint sensor placing and slightly less curved display it would be checking all the boxes for handling as well, but I still think it is beautiful to look at.
-
@Snatched it is really beautiful on the front, but the back of the S8 is lacking a lot in my opinion. Let me point out my L830: great matte plastic on the back, hardware buttons, dedicated camera button, metal frame, only slightly curved screen, and just slight curves on the edges and corners of the phone while it still keeps its boxy shape. The design itself has played a big role when i was picking my new phone (2 years ago). It is still superb. Nokia was the bomb

@nikola1402 I stuck a dbrand black dragon skin on the back to make it more interesting 😎
The tragedy is nobody uses plastics anymore while it's a great option for bodies to keep wireless charging. Nokia demonstrated you could retain premium feeling if you just used high quality polycarbonates. Also no one makes colorful phone anymore... -
@Snatched It would be nice to see how it looks like with a skin :)
Well, the problem is that the polycarbonates are not futuristic enough...Regarding colors, i have a grey/black L830, and a colleague of mine had a white/orange one. The levels of sexyness when we put them side by side were through the roof :) -
@nikola1402 almost forgot, took a picture for you of it. I have the black s8. There should be plenty videos on YouTube about these dbrand skins and also they have a good "phone customized" that lets you pick individual skins for each skinnable part providing a preview
-
@Snatched yeah, i've heard of them before. It looks really nice with a skin, especially since I dislike having the glass on the back :D Did you put it on by yourself?
-
@nikola1402 Yes, tought i would fuck up but it's pretty easy and the sticker it comes attached to doubles as a small ruler with guides for application

Considering phone designs:
I'm still waiting for someone to beat Nokia Lumia 830 and 930.
