I spent several hours today looking for remote jobs on freelancer.com and this new platform called kalido. just a waste of my time.

All these platforms doesn't work for me.

Freelancer is just a platform for mostly Indian _COMPANIES_ (these shouldn't be on a freelance platform anyways), which bet on the minimum price and give the projects to their employees who earn minimum wage.
There's no way you can counter this, except with exceptional quality, but most of leads just want to get the job done, preferably yesterday and for free.
