Oh man I feel you, I had to learn delphi pascal a couple of months ago. Against my will, and not because I have something against the language, but because there are few jobs available for it which to my mind createa a block for wanting to actually study the language.

I had turbo pascal as first language in school in 2013

The language is not that bad. It's the Delphi IDE that is an unstable piece of shite, at only 5k$ per year or so...
