You should congratulate him. We need more people like this. Even though the extra effort was unnecessary in this case, it would be helpful if everyone had the habit of doing this
-
Where did you get these?
Specifically the computer whisperer and hours of planning ones -
@billgates you could pretend there is.
Don’t phone providers share the same networks anyway? I.e. sprint or t-no or att? -
Sauce: reddit

@import-fun
1) eww no why does this have to be a thing
2) I think I tried that once and was like “ummmmm nope.” -
@import-fun huh? I’m not sure what you’re referring to.
-
@import-fun what Wordpress site ISNT infected
-
*stupid annoying pineapple pen tune begins autoplaying as soon as you enter the infected website*
-
@Mba3gar 10K gaming experience. That’s why.
-
I have an idea
I have a Wordpress
Uuh! Compromised server. -
@Teknas or set up a site that looks like YouTube but replaces their ads with yours. Nobody will ever know 😂
-
https://devrant.com/rants/1530906/... I feel like there’s a chance that this will get taken both ways
-
What if I told you that a website for some well respected password manager still uses tables for their layout.
(Go inspect element on the keepass website if you don’t believe me) -
getting promoted to a customer like:
THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT BITCH -
I WAS EXPECTING YOU TO MANDATE THE USE OF HTTP CODE 418.
-
@DuckyMcDuckFace great!
-
I NEEDED THIS
-
WP is always a useless feature
-
Cue coming come to a shitsmear on the kitchen floor
-
I’ve been so tempted to do this for ages. Not sure if my school would appreciate me not using google drive tho...
-
I think I know why this is...
-
@stryter but is the code itself protected from Satan?
If not then one little bug could infect your whole application with satanic influences -
@BurningSatan a lot of people who needed a vpn and watched Linus tech tips until recently.
They got bought by a mcafee I think, or another larger company. -
I believe it’s still there. Just integrated with the rant feed as a filter . You can still post a collab from the new rant menu I think
-
Why not use Unix time in milliseconds?
-
@lucaIO don’t even get me started on graffiti. Some cities have tons of it and I’m sure it’s on stop signs too.
Wouldn’t it be better to embed microchips or like RFID or something in the road to communicate that information instead? Then that can’t as easily be tampered with and it’s LOADS more concrete (😏) than trying to visually recognize a sign. -
@BambuSource sounds exactly like me. That whole redesign process is why I took my site off of archive.org for the moment because my “under construction” page was so cringey and stupid and I don’t know why I thought it was a good idea.

Essentially it’s more wanting to control my money than privacy necessarily since pretty much every financial institution worth it’s salt is going to require a lot of personal info to be compliant with the laws and there isn’t really a way around that besides bitcoin, which still has some major problems to work out.
-
@JoshBent kinda does actually. The primary thing I’m looking for is to be more in control of my money and not be under PayPal’s control where they can lock down my account for “ security reasons” and stop me from accessing funds when I have always had a strong password and 2FA (nevermind that they only have SMS 2FA)
This would allow me to use a card (which is arguably more widely supported than PayPal) while protecting from the issues that arise with giving your real card number out everywhere and having to change it should something happen (like unauthorized charges)
Privacy.com apparently also allows you to set limits on each merchant and things like that, so bonus control -
@Orni but 255 is the maximum for a single RGB color value. Also known as FF
