Pre 2016 the keys were so damned small, I had to look down and see which button i was pressing.
After 2016, Apple comes up with this sort of designs...😑. -
Ahh great.
There are reports of facebook losing 29,000 employees banking data.
And they hid it from public for TWO weeks.
https://bloomberg.com/news/...
To even think of giving our data to them.😒 -
@p100sch
😔😔 -
@alexbrooklyn
I'm still hanging on to WhatsApp by a thin thread.
should they do it, and that's going to go. -
It all boils down to what someone would see better of the two choices.
Convenience and Ease VS Trust & Security
The latter is open source and the former is closed source.
That said, such a comparison isn't absolute, exceptions do exist.
In the current age of leaks and data scandals, I'd prefer using tools/applications that an end-user can have complete and absolute trust over. -
Starting off with a wrong dev tools and then having to change it all midway through development. Costly.

@Wisecrack
Why not hire the guy in the team with the leadership skill or atleast the one who can take the initiative to lead?
and they can do it via trial and error and perfect it over time.
Corporate is all about getting a $$$ oriented MBA student into this and letting them screw everything up.😑 -
I guess corporate simply doesnt get that cardinal triangle.
Cheap
Fast
Quality.
Pick 2 of 3 and the other is gone and to get over that hire more and more.
Which results in, hiring lesser quality devs and thus we face this issue of shit devs.
WE REALLY NEED TO KICK MBA's out of projects.
I am getting so bone tired of them screwing up over and over and over. -
@Root
True.
earlier I used to think highly of the laws and freedoms they used to have.
right now everyone's (political leaders) loving China and wanna emulate them in some way or the other.
I would no way EVER visit such a place. -
@Fast-Nop
True!!
Adding soo much of bloated JS made AMP necessary.😔 -
@jesustricks
Haha, but to see highly technical webpages like Ars Technica and Wired go the route of AMP.
Its really pissing me off a lot.
I wish devs take the initiative to oppose the spread of AMP and tell the managers/clients the reasons to NOT use it. -
Gets curious and opens Android Studio,
Makes a small Hello World App.
*ecstatically*
Yippeee Imma go rock the world with my android apps!
Updates resume feverishly with a new tagline Android Developer.

Seriously asking, Which particular use case by anyone would require such a high performing machine?
Heck you can create a mini supercomputer at that price range. for analysis of gigantic data sets. -
To add on to the points that you mention, ever since Windows 10 was released and i had to go through the settings and untick ALL the god awful telemetry shit.
I was like why would anyone even use your Piece Of Shit OS? I insta noped out and slapped Linux Mint the same day on the device and peace of mind ever since then.
As others mention games, i'll take my privacy not being violated over some games and buy a console to play them. -
Its a common thing for everyone, i forgot my bank PIN.
Had to go to the nearest ATM and without even thinking, i managed to get it right in my first try. -
@linuxxx
Uhh, its closed source, between Apple iCloud and Whatsapp.
Not an open source implementation, i am not a fan of closed source implementations.
But this is Apple, and we can expect to a small degree of privacy guarantees from them. -
@linuxxx
iCloud backups are indeed stored encrypted.

Not so much with the Google Drive backups, which are in plaintext. -
Ublock Origin + Firefox.😊

@arazzz
There are some companies that do not use git. Even now.
many devs may have forgotten git or never used it.
