@billgates Slow charging is because of the current that gets to your phone. Most have 2A now but old ones tend to have 500mA (just like an USB 2.0 port or 1A on USB 3.0).
If the "battery pack" you refer to is a power bank, the output might be just 500mA.
If you refer to the internal battery charging slow despite a high input current, maybe not supported? -
Buy a replacement.
Serious talk
@netikras wait what? I do remember that for old GPU's because of of the
dry solder but this will not help in that case. The tinn should be fine if he has to push up/down.
Agreed on the new pcb.
Maybe you can find the same phone on eBay with a broken screen and take those parts. -
@Nanos pretty sure there is nothing left. I examined that sucker when I painted the pentagram, placed the candles and took my anger out on him.
Still might let a doctor take a look. -
@arcsector I've just read that one got in the nose of a women in India ...
-
@arcsector You ducker. Now I have another dilemma. Put in in-ears and risk baby insects not crawling out of me or don't put them in and risk another sucker to crawl in.
The day I will be ok having insects inside of me is the day my body goes on a body farm. -
@Mvzes I was about to tag it as nsfw, but the time limit ...
-
Just so you have an idea.
-
@Mvzes I had one too. It is 4:34 AM and I don't think I will go to bed for the rest of this vacation
I am on vacation (in my home country) and staying at an appartement, my 91 year old grandma was living in. She moved out 3 months ago to have someone help her out in the day-to-day tasks.
She left it quite dirty and noone out of my relatives cared to clean it. It's getting better but it takes time until they all will be gone. -
@dudeking Buddy. Pls. Get rest or a coffee. It is right there on the screen.
(New to WiGLE) -
It should be possible with computer vision.
And I heard of one of my professors that someone bypassed/solved them for him. No code though. -
So what you are saying is the browser sets the values, right?
-
@HighTurtleDev not sure you understand. Look up"Listen to Scotty" on YT
-
"You didn't tell him how long it would really take did ya?
You've got a lot to learn if you want people to think of you as a miracle worker"
-Scotty- -
Not sure if that update was forced now (windows 10 1903, maybe 1809), but you can WIN+V to select what you want to paste from history.
-
@platypus I'm not even sure if you are trolling.
-
Just be available.
Give him enough to get the work done, but encourage him to ask questions and go deeper if he is interested.
Don't forget the basics like the IDE setup, add-ons/extensions which make coding more pleasent.
Give him cheat sheets with most used commands so he does not have to look through documentation and all the possible arguments (git). -
Don't forget to wash your hands with vegetarian soap before you eat.
-
++ for good use of TLDR
-
@b3b3 It's machine learning.
Du Maschine 😉 -
@b3b3 Oh fuq. You just brought up an idea.
What about a personal 🤖, you can control over a brain-machine-interface? No outgoing connection because all the resources you need could be inside of the 🤖.
And you could keep your good old fashioned coffee machine. -
@cb219 If you ask lazy questions, you will get lazy answers.
-
@b3b3 You would actually be able to "tell" your IoT-coffee-machine to make you coffee and order your uber etc. .
@deadPix3l Wasn't thinking about an open source option. Good point -
@Stuxnet Yeah, I reported that and even the support worker told me he is surprised that's not a feature already. (Don't forget I had German set as a language and the features are delayed.) I think they added that quite fast but I was already too disappointed.
-
I am not a fan of it. I have a Google home mini and it's off.
Google even gifts them now and I could get a second one, but I don't rly want it. Especially because the support for the Germans is quite bad, the fact you could only set a timer with a multiple of 5 killed it for me.
If I tell you to set an alarm for 14:53 don't set it for 14:55 you digital dipshit. -
Maybe he would've reacted differently if you did that face to face.
But hey, some people just don't deserve attention. Save it for someone else. -
@b3b3 Let's take them and make one out of them (is there something like audio morphing?).
-
Please tell me not all of them are on your notebook. If I see someone having Microsoft, Apple and Unix stickers I feel uncomfortable around them.
It's like the website giving you the options male, female and other, it just feels wrong. -
Just listen to Hans Zimmer, especially the interstellar stuff.
You'll be motivated enough to programm. Heck, you'd be motivated enough to take over the world.
@M1sf3t Playing "clubbed to death" makes me enter the matrix and setting variables (exhaustion=0; motivation=100; gravity=3.71) -
You just made me look up how to disable web search.
3 quick CMD-commands you have to copy and you're free.
Thanks for the motivation. -
@telephantasm I have 2 and it's nice to look something up on the second.
I'd compare it like that: if you research something and have 2 books side by side, you can switch context really quickly. If you have one book containing all the information you'd waste time leafing (not sure if that's the right word) through the book.
