@retoor yes, "just", but I would like to load it with the javadoc for our API
-
@hitko yeah, but 3 phase usually have 5 pins, this one has 3.. Thus it should be 220v single phase. The plug in the picture is the regular plug we only use for 220v (Denmark)
-
@retoor yes
-
@retoor ISP modem and a PoE-switch. Lucky I was only testing, so the expensive stuff is fine
-
@Oktokolo well then, please enlighten me, I can't see where I'm in the wrong.
-
In Denmark we say and spell the emergency number 1-1-2 instead of 112 (hundred and twelve) because people dialed 10012, so this is probably a global thing...
-
@iiii It's actually British, officially in 1907 to try to give criminal boys a chance to get back into society.
Have you never heard of Eagle Scouts? -
I have a dream that one day I'll be able to let my flutter project sit for six months and just recompile the same as I left it...
-
@AvatarOfKaine It's a work laptop
@Midnight-shcode Then please tell Apple to also let me develop apps for iOS on anything other than a Mac... 😅 -
@yehaaw
Absolutely is, my dad has been working for them his entire career. -
Don't know about Uber, but at IBM it is in you contract that everything you develop is their property, also anything you develop in your spare time.
I know this used to be common practice in the industry, but IBM still does it. -
A buddy of mine got tired of shit like this and the way some rich texteditors keep formatting when pasting.
He created an AHK script that typed out what he had in his clipboard 😅 -
I'll bet ya, that most don't know the difference. Because it's only some (most) loose languages that syntax.
I saw it early on, but didn't bother to look up the difference before I had code that broke because of it. (years into my career) -
I would like to disagree with you on that one.
-
It's used for modifiers, like the skin color of smileys. It's actually a pretty clever bodge 😅
-
You do know that Chrome supports break points, right?
Tho I also think that this is the way. 🙃 -
@pmso working two years, as a student, payed by the hour. When I'm done at uni they want to hire me full-time.
-
@aviophile I've been working here for two years now, so should I go back in time or wait another year? 🤔
-
Aren't most of us, just here to vent? 🙃
-
Fun fact: In Denmark you can take a masters in IT management. None of the bachelors leading up to the masters are in IT and it has no lectures on IT 🙃
-
@electrineer Some universities in Denmark do, but not all 😅
-
@Flygger Well if you are who I think you are, then I have a good idea of how much you are capable of consuming 😅
-
@Flygger only one I know is the XKCD version, but don't think that's the one I'm hitting.
Guess my tolerance is pretty broad, given that I don't have to work that hard to hit it, once I hit it I just drink when I'm thirsty. Tho it only works with regular-ish beer, anything above 5,6% and I start drifting towards too drunk and anything below 4% never quite gets me there to begin with. -
Teams does the same shit.
Me: *closes teams*
Teams: I was closed unexpectedly, let me restore state for you.
Me: No! Bad MS! Bad MS! -
Guess most languages have *quirks* like that.
Know it's not the same, but in danish the word for the past and the front page are one letter apart (forsiden, fortiden) -
At least you got docs...
The last couple of of APIs that I've had the pleasure of working with, have docs that are wrong or maybe, if you are lucky, they just have a list of endpoints 😔 -
@AtuM
Well, we didn't know that the entire building was on the same HPFI relay with individual breakers😅 No one ever checked...
Safe to say, that was remedied the next day. -
My IoT runs on separate vlan (666) and the SSID is IoIS (Internet of Insecure Shit) 😅
-
Same happened to me last week...
Me: shop is ready, can you look at it?
Customer: looks good, send out the email
Me: *sends email to 80 people*
C: BTW, could you change the contact information and I forgot to give you information on these 6 products...
Me: *homer: why you little!* -
Love mine!
It has a lot of features that I love, but most of them are because it's a company pc and I'm the admin... 😅
But seriously that keyboard is just about the best, when you have to write for long sessions, I rarely slow down.
