I tried it like yesterday.
I tend to at least try any alternatives for the sake of it and I can say it's... fine.
I'm really used to Chromium and the basic sync with my Android phone works flawlessly.
As for Edge - it's noticeably faster than the earlier version. I also hope they keep up with that 'debloating' that's been talked about on the internet. -
@drdre I thought of that too. I want the program to detect a playlist and allow the user to add it to queue.
-
@AlgoRythm @iamavalos @stop It's written in C# (WPF, not UWP) using a MahApps.Metro lib for the components.
@nitwhiz see attachment :) -
@iamavalos @Codex404 It will be opensource, I just want to get a basic prototype working before publishing It.
-
@norman70688 There will be themes :)

@JohnDoesNot Yeah everyone should adjust their schedule around a fucking mouse charging solution even though Apple is clearly autistic when it comes to those (how do you charge the pencil?).
I own a Razer Orochi 2013, it's wireless (Bluetooth), has 2x removable AA batteries and an awesome braided cable you can plug in at any time and it concerts the mouse into a normal wired one (it has a cool dock style ending so it completely fills the gap under the wheel).
I get that it does nothing to post this here since Apple doesn't care and it won't magically fix itself, but this is what this site is about. -
Also look at this image guys. Of course we're talking performance only, not aesthetics.

Yeah, no.

or if you really want AMD graphics:
>>63837596 (OP)
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/...
Another good build for literally half the price (7.5K, threadripper):
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/...
> 16-core / 32-threads
> 16GB HBM2 Vega Frontier
> 128GB DDR4 3400MHz
> 4TB SSD (4x 1TB)
> two 4K displays
> 10Gb Ethernet
Advantages:
> everything is upgradeable
> everything is water-cooled
> faster RAM
> more pixels
> almost half the price
Disadvantages:
> less cores/threads
> no ECC RAM
> bigger/heavier, with lots of cables
> the 5K IPS display on the iMac is brighter and probably of higher quality
> slower SSD -
I always follow this way of writing commit messages "This commit should {x}", really makes it easy to create messages in the same fashion.

@CodeNoir @Gaetano96 Wasn't devRant designed to be a mobile app tho? It doesn't count if it was.
-
@cwizard I do not think Reddit forcing people to install their mobile app is a good practise, however I find all those client really giving a functionality benefit. Right now I'm using Relay and it's really good! I have been using their official one, too, and then, after formatting my phone, I visited their mobile site. I must admit I was really surprised, since I have always felt like Reddit was a great example of being great for everyone. Forcing to install their app is not only pissing people off but also seems to be a little shady. Often times it turns out those client like to call home all the time!

Honestly I did not expect that. Man, I smiled inside.

Come on, tell us more - you caught my curiosity :P

I bought an electronics pouch for like $2 off GearBest and store some cables in it, including my 16000mAh powerbank (it's a tight fit!). I just put it in the laptop pocket in my backpack since I do not use one. You are not gonna use it every day, but it comes in handy when you're short on power. I never worry when I go out with 30% battery since I always have everything on me.

@BlurryFace5178
I use Tidal daily, but cloned the playlist to Spotify for sharing. I can try and clone it to YouTube if you really want to, but tommorow.
https://open.spotify.com/user/... -
And my side note:
I love listening to RAP (got a 5h playlist, just shuffle playing it), some specific instrumentals (like 2001 by Dr. Dre), some Rock or alt rock (Twenty one pilots, Kasabian, Green Day).
And a lot of Polish rappers (Taco Hemingway, Kaliber 44, O.S.T.R., Tede, I really recommend the first one) -
It's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen
Because I'm easy come, easy go, little high, little low. -
@Gaetano96 cartridges, they are called cartridges.

Check JavaRant for URLs :) -
It does, although I think you have to ask @dfox for access (I want it too!)
I mean, there are multiple open source projects that use devrant api (like jsrant.com or javarant) -
@hasu
Personally, I stopped using the official fb app years ago. I really recommend swipe for facebook since it has a client-sided friendly UI and uses tinfoil for browsing.
It has some neat features that really make the experience better, like a special photo viewer, separate comments popup, so you don't need to load a bare mobile fb page every time.
I hate the official messenger app too.
It used to work well, perfect I would say, but now it drains battery like crazy while copying snapchat. I get some weird errors and crashes too.
I advise you download messenger lite from apkmirror to get a proper experience. It has all the basic messenger functionality while being super slim, and I don't even notice it in the battery usage screen.
Also, I'm using a OnePlus 3 tunning CM13 from sultanxda (android 6.0.1) -
Ever since I noticed how much I drink when using my pc, I switched to normal 1.5l water bottles. Sometimes I would add some concentrated raspberry sauce to the water for some sweetness.
I never really drank enough water throughout the day and now I can do up to 3 liters daily, it does make me feel better, and I can eat a cookie whenever I want to anyway :) -
Polish buses do this all the time.
Some run linux some windows - they might crash or boot into BIOS.
Weird... -
