Guys, how do you structure branching in an enterprise project?

We're using git, managers are MIA, I'm basically helping another new guy kick off and maintain the projects that we have.

What would be a good branching strategy? Front end and backend in the same project, 5 man team in the future.

Crazy client,
Worst tech stack,
Best lunch for afternoon coding,
Best food for coding,
Best client story,
Great bosses,
Great coworkers.

What are you hearing right now to work?

I'm loving the fact that it's summer, I'm stuck in a windowless office, and everybody is complaining that the weather sucks and they can't go to the beach.

PM : Have you finished the login issues?
Me, junior dev: No mister.
PM: Why not? You're going to delay the sprint.
Me: The other PM told me not to do it.

When you're the only dev in a project with two managers, life suddenly feels like you're back to 5 years old with your parents arguing all the time.

Designer made the layouts reading only half the requirements. We have stuff such as "3 email inputs" where he just stuck one and told us to eyeball it if we needed something else.

Plot Twist: everyobody sucks designing stuff on the dev team, so after explaining that we needed more input from him, he sent us the psds and told us to change them as we saw fit.
