I bought a course about VueJS on Udemy and followed it, learned a lot of useful things, but it also depends of the teacher.
I'm going through another course about Flutter from the same guy, it's quite good too -
Also Nativescript, used it with Vue, was pretty nice
-
@Hallelouia it's mysql_secure_installation, but i had to run it multiple times before it worked, was weird
-
@jusanotherdev Well, looks like a good idea
-
So you get the OneSignal dashboard as an app ? Or i didn't really understand, never really tried to access OneSignal on mobile
-
@gitpush Can't find any reason about that, sorry
-
@gitpush Not sure cache could be a problem in dev environment, at least i don't remember having problems with it.
I assume you put a simple console.log that isn't being called in your mounted() ? -
@gitpush Yeah that's what i was referring.
I really have no idea what would cause the lifecycle hooks to not be called, that's strange -
@gitpush Dumb question, in what vue-router mode are you ? # or history ? Dunno if it could have an impact, i've never encountered this error.

Got my bachelor in I.T, but did my final year internship as a .Net dev, and landed a job as a dev.
At first, i thought i would never liked development, then i had some courses, and now i really love it -
Used Vuejs for our latest project at work with a Rails API, it was pretty fun, i found Vue to be nice to develop with.
Have yet to try it within a rails app, to see if it's going well with it -
(Useless) Update :
Plugged the SSD in an old computer and wiped it completely (after backup), reinstalled the newest Ubuntu (18.04 - Bionic Beaver). Has anyone already tested it ?
On previous tests i pretty much determined there was something wrong with the drive, so i hope it's gonna fix it. Sadly i think i'll only get confirmation tomorrow when i plug it back at work -
@Linux very small startup, and we're in the progress of moving to Luxemburg, so we need cash.
My boss offered to look for a replacement, but i'm the one who wanted to try the repair -
@Rabbyte sadly i don't have any adapter to plug on these, or i don't remember where they are
-
@Rabbyte I've got old VGAs and one HDMI monitor, but on the desktop it's 2x DVI and one mini-HDMI ports ...
Found (totally by luck) a brand new mini-HDMI/HDMI adapter, but doesn't seem to work.
First thing first, gonna plug the drive in an old computer and backup the /home ! -
That's sad, VueJS is really a pleasure to work with imo.
Learned it for fun and now using it at work, i find it great -
I started as a backend dev, and i'm still at the same place.
First task, implement the booster shipping manager in a nightmare PHP legacy website .. Pure horror -
Worked a bit with Nativescript-Vue, was getting pretty good results, still on development but i think it's on the right track
-
Wanted to give it a try but looks like it's buggy on my phone, it keeps duplicating every time i try to input something
-
Totally agreed ..
Nativescript-Vue ftw !
